I sit all alone in the welcoming darkness.
Thoughts fill my mind with frightening comfort.
At my disposal, ways of leaving.
Tools of sorrowing death all around.
My pain shall cease when I cross through the door.
New pain for others, I fear, will begin.
Many times thought of, many times tried.
No end, as yet, to this life full of confusion.
When will it end? Why should I wait?
What person will save me from this lonely fate?
I am still here, alone in my mind.
Friends...I have some, but they have their own lives.
What stop to this madness?
All I ask: keep me from myself.
Alone... I will cease.
Never to return.
